Mark Graban
Mark Graban has helped organizations improve for over 20 years, with a focus in manufacturing, healthcare, and technology startups. He has deep experience with Lean management and statistical methods. His manufacturing work includes automotive (General Motors), technology (Dell), and industrial products (Honeywell). His healthcare experience spans large health systems, provider practices, and laboratory operations.
An author, speaker, and consultant, Mark’s books include three Shingo Institute award-winning books: The Mistakes That Make Us, Lean Hospitals, and Healthcare Kaizen. He also authored Measures of Success and is the co-author of The Executive Guide to Healthcare Kaizen.
He serves as a consultant through his company, Constancy, Inc, a Senior Advisor to the technology company KaiNexus, and the host of the podcasts Lean Blog Interviews and My Favorite Mistake.
Mark earned a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Leaders for Global Operations program.
