Michael Bremer has over 20 years’ experience leading operational transformation and business performance turnaround efforts, including 11 years at Beatrice Foods and 5 years introducing Lean Management to Motorola. He also has deep experience with information systems and financial leadership.
Michael is the author of five books on leadership and performance improvement, including the Shingo award-winning book, How to Do a Gemba Walk, and his most recent book, Learning to See the Invisible.
A skilled educator and mentor, he served as adjunct faculty at the University of Chicago’s Graham School and mentored leaders of manufacturing-focused startups at the innovation incubator, mHUB Chicago. He currently serves as the Volunteer Vice President for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence’s (AME) much-acclaimed Excellence Awards.
Michael earned a BS in Business with an emphasis in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and is an ICMCI Certified Management Consultant.
